omanathinkal kidavo (мохиниаттам)
the dance portrays a mother and child. the story unfolds with the mother playing with the child and later, putting him to sleep. then she gets an order from the King saying that her son has been chosen to go to the monastery to become a Hindu priest. The mom is excited but also devastated by the fact that she would have to part with her son forever. the piece ends with her having come to peace with fate and her accepting it as God's will.
